Remote Demonstration/Support Information

Support CADS is committed to superior customer service, so we've introduced a remote support application.  This is a simple tool your Support contact can use to help with a wide range of problems.  If appropriate to the problem, your Support contact will ask for your express permission to use the remote support application to access your system via the internet.

The problem diagnosis work will be carried out directly on the system, so you can see on screen exactly what the your Support contact is doing at all times. It's as though we're right there with you.  This is just one more way in which CADS enhances your experience of using our expert software.

Once you have arranged a session with your Support contact, getting started is a simple process.  You will need to follow this process for each session you participate in.

1. Firstly download one of the two files below, making sure you download the correct file for your PC's operating system:

Remote Support Download (Windows 2000/XP) (50 Kb)
Remote Support Download (Windows Vista) (105 Kb)

2. Click on 'Open' to unzip the file then click on the folder and the .exe file itself

3. Click on 'Run' when prompted

3. You will then see the dialog screen below

Remote Demonstration and Support

4. Enter the Session Code provided by your CADS representative to enter the session

5. The above dialog screen will remain available throughout the session

6. You can end the session yourself at anytime by clicking on the 'Cancel' button

Please note that we use our reasonable efforts to ensure remote sessions deliver the best care and results for our customers and users.  However we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or cumulative losses or damages arising out of the provision of this service.

'It was very helpful. It was a chance to ask the developers in person about any problems we were experiencing. It is very nice to get a sneak peek at the upcoming RebarCAD features.'
