Scia Engineer is an expansive and versatile package that can be configured to your specific requirements.
As well as starter packages for RC slabs, concrete frames, steelwork and combined structures, Scia Engineer enables further expansion as and when your projects or business requires them. Click on the catalogue links below to download detailed descriptions of Scia Engineer modules, covering everything from parametric modelling to European timber, concrete and steelwork design codes. You can also contact us to request a hard copy of this catalogue, if required. Dividing the large catalogue into 3 separate PDF's, please click on your required Scia Engineer modules:
1) Modules: Modeller, Local generators and Analyser
2) Modules: Steel designer and Steel detailer
3) Modules: Concrete Designer, Designer of other materials and Vertical applications | The Revit Structure analytical model is bi-directionally linked with external structural analysis and design programs. Bidirectional linking means that analysis results accurately and automatically update your model if any member size has changed. And parametric change technology co-ordinates those updates everywhere in your project views and construction drawings. Examples of structural analytical information that can be shared with structural analysis and design programs include release and boundary conditions, loads and load combinations and material and section properties.

Scia Engineer Bi-directional Analysis Link
The bi-directional links to RevitĀ® Structure within Scia Engineer (see below) have been designed to create seamless analysis, design and detailing environments. SMART Modeller ESA PT software will directly analyse Autodesk Revit Structure information, without the need to manually manipulate the data. This helps maintain the integrity of the BIM.
- Bi-directional linking means that analysis results accurately and automatically update your model if any member size has changed.
- Parametric change technology co-ordinates those updates everywhere in your project views and construction drawings.
- Examples of structural analytical information that can be shared with structural analysis and design programs include release and boundary conditions, loads and load combinations, and material and section properties.
- Also export models in several widely used formats, including DWG™, DXF™, DWF™, and IFC to applications such as Advance Steel for 3D steelwork detailing.
