Links to CADS RC Detailing - The Scia Engineer Slab Detailer (SMSD) is a new CADS RC module that imports slab design results and automatically converts them into CADS RC drawings and bar bending schedules.
Steelwork Design - Scia Engineer supports steel code checking in accordance with BS5950-1:2000, EC3 and other international design standards.
Links to AdvanceSteel - Steelwork designs can be exported to Advance Steel 3D steelwork detailing package in AutoCAD.

Starting from Scia Engineer version 2008.0 it is possible for the user to work with National Annexes. This will be of great importance because starting from 2010 old national codes will no longer be applicable in Europe.
New Geotechnics Module
In addition to all the major Eurocodes (EC2 & EC3) Scia Engineer now offers a new geotechnics module which checks the stability of pad foundations according to EN 1997-1: Geotechnical design-Part 1: General rules, 2004. Another extension is the fully integrated EC-EN1993-1-3:2006 module for cold-formed members, including the determination of initial and effective shapes.
