CADS and SCIA have successfully conlcuded a tour of Indian cities, promoting the latest SMART Modeller (ESA PT) analysis and design software solution. Starting in CADS India´s home city of Chennai (Madras), the tour then visited venues in New Delhi, Calcutta and Mumbai (Bombay).
Engineers, engineering students, the press and VIPs joined CADS staff, including Managing Director Mr K K Jagadish and SCIA representatives. The topics included an overview of the relationship between the two companies, which has enabled close links to be forged between the SCIA ESA PT software, remarketed as SMART Modeller, and CADS own design and detailing software. |

SMART Modeller includes Finite Element Analysis and Modelling of RC Slabs & 3D building structures in steel, concrete and other materials. It also includes non-linear & dynamic analysis and design to both British Standards and Eurocodes. SMART Modeller is supplied as a scalable, modular solution, and as well as being easy to learn, links to CADS software such as CADS RC in AutoCAD.
The tour has proved an outstanding success with licence orders already from companies such as Torsteel Research Foundation. CADS has a great deal of experience in the Indian market, with over 200 engineers and development staff based in our Chennai offices. This month we celebrate our tenth anniversary of operations in India, further underlining our commitment to this important market and reinforcing our ability to support customers in the future. |
