The CADS Revit Link is proving to the industry that those companies implementing or thinking of implementing the Structural BIM Process can rely on CADS to develop the most capable tools on the market today. This new version enhances this capability allowing engineers and technicians to take advantage of the latest Revit Structure 2012 and Scia Engineer analysis and design software from CADS.
All or selected parts of a Revit model can be shared to allow an analytical model to be constructed and designed in logical phases. Any changes to geometry can be included or ignored , openings in steel beam webs, holes in slabs, supports, loads and combinations can all be synchronised between models. The new version is also capable of highlighting any changes made in the exchange of models enabling the engineers to monitor progress and avoid errors.
