CADS with Nemetschek Engineering Group is happy to announce the launch of the new User Contest 2009.
The Nemetschek Engineering User Contest is an international competition for users of software, developed and distributed by Nemetschek Engineering group. In the UK this includes Nemetschek Scia along with its development partner and exclusive UK reseller CADS.
In the last edition of 2007, 99 projects from 11 different countries were elaborated in great detail, of which 4 came from UK based companies. If you don't have the Scia User Contest Book 2007 in your possession, we gladly send you a copy, completely free of charge. You can review UK projects from Pell Frischmann, Thomasons and Reuby & Stagg.

The Nemetschek Engineering edition 2009 will be more international than ever; through a large distribution of the User Contest Book the quality of your engineering services will be publicised to many potential clients. Magazines and newsletters will help bring your project into the international spotlight.
Why must you participate in this contest?
- 13000 copies of the User contest book will be distributed in the engineering community; no less than 50.000 persons will read this book. Your projects will be studied by an international jury, giving feedback on the level of engineering quality and creativity.
- In each of the seven categories you can win 1250 €.
- The nominated and winning projects will be communicated to the international press for publication in magazines.
- You will learn from the projects of colleagues how design and detailing tasks are performed in real situations.
- You get a quick overview on all ongoing construction projects where your software is used
Participating is Simple
This contest is meant for projects which have either been completed or which are still in progress, the design or detailing being done, with the help of SMART Modeller (Scia Engineer, ESA PT and ESA-Prima Win).
It is very easy to assemble the project presentation data, with guidelines and templates. SCIA take care of the summary and translation for newsletters and press articles, as well as the design lay-out for publication in the Contest Book.
In addition CADS is offering additional help during July and August and will register you as well as assemble your competition entry(s) on your behalf. All you need to do is send us images and text or direct us to existing write-ups
