CADS has been approved as a Revit Structure Reseller by Autodesk, becoming the only UK software developer to hold this status. This latest development further underlines CADS role as a parrtner for companies looking for leading solutions that address the needs of modern building design. Revit Structure and Scia Engineer

The bi-directional links to Revit® Structure within Scia Engineer have been designed to create seamless analysis, design and detailing environments. Scia Engineer software will directly analyse Autodesk Revit Structure information, without the need to manually manipulate the data. This helps maintain the integrity of the BIM.
- Bi-directional linking means that analysis results accurately and automatically update your model if any member size has changed.
- Parametric change technology co-ordinates those updates everywhere in your project views and construction drawings.
- Examples of structural analytical information that can be shared with structural analysis and design programs include release and boundary conditions, loads and load combinations, and material and section properties.
- Also export models in several widely used formats, including DWG™, DXF™, DWF™, and IFC to applications for 3D steelwork detailing.
