Our French commercial partner Graitec has acquired the Hampshire based AutoCAD dealer Adris with the intention of selling their range of design software in the UK.
Graitec is the developer of Advance Steel, a 3D steelwork modelling and detailing software package which continues to go from strength to strength in the UK boasting many features that have challenged the traditional hold of rival software such as Xsteel and StruCAD. Advance Steel is the undisputed leader for Stairs, balustrades, mezzanine floors and other architectural and secondary steelwork.
For more than 5 years CADS has been Graitec's Advance Steel development, and localisation UK partner in the UK, providing marketing, training and technical support to UK steel Fabricators and Detailing firms. CADS have ensured that Advance Steel meets the specific needs of the UK structural steel industry through the local development of connections, accessories and CAM for leading manufacturers of cold rolled purlins and sheeting systems, essential in the UK market, whilst also ensuring compliancy with British standards. CADS will continue to develop, sell and support Advance Steel, so there are no anticipated changes for existing UK Advance Steel users.
