CADS RC Pilecap Designer can be used stand-alone or as part of the integrated analysis, design and detailing solution. It automatically produces a selection of suitable designs to BS8110 for pilecaps with 2-9 piles supporting circular or rectangular columns. The pilecap design is optimised using the percentage utilisation factor displayed for each pilecap type. A detailed reinforcement solution is calculated, and completed designs can be printed onto a single A4 sheet or exported to Microsoft Word and detailed automatically in AutoCAD using the CADS RC Pilecap Detailer Macro. Customers wishing to compile reports from various CADS design programs can now export a special formatted text file. This text file contains all the formatting information/controls necessary to enable the new CADS<`Word-Macro´>to create a new Microsoft Word document.
Easy to learn and use - in keeping with the latest versions of Microsoft´s own applications the CADS RC PileCap Designer includes a new Input Wizard which assists both first time and occasional users with a step-by-step approach to data entry, design, editing and checking. Data import from frame analysis - CADS RC PileCap Designer automatically designs single/groups of pilecaps from a group of support reactions imported from Frame Analysis Software such as CADS Analyse3D or CADS A3D MAX. (Interfaces to GTSTRUDL and Staad III are also supported).
Fast automatic design to BS8110 - CADS RC PileCap Designer instantly produces a selection of suitable designs for 2-9 pile pilecaps from which the designer can choose. Single A4 sheet colour printout - communicates your design on a single sheet, complete with a detailed reinforcement diagram. The results printout can be configured to support colour printers and may contain your company logo, address details, etc.
Export text file/link to Microsoft Word - the new CADS Word Macro generates a special text file to produce a fully formatted new document in Microsoft Word. This can be included in a larger document with other calculations, etc, as required.
