RebarCAD V9 New Features

Introduction
The bar list interface within RebarCAD has been completely redesigned to offer improved usability, clarity and configurability. We have also taken this opportunity to introduce some significant new features to the bar list. An overview of some of these improvements is described below.

RebarCAD Bar List

Manipulating the Bar List
The presentation of the bar list can now be manipulated directly using a range of dynamic commands. Simply select the required lines in the formatted bar list view and use the mouse right click button to bring up the available options.

Formatting the Bar List
Specific sorting, segregation, and presentation options can now be applied to the bar list with much greater ease.

Printing Bar Lists & Reports
Printing hard or soft copies of the bar list is now much easier. A range of standard bar lists and weight reports are supplied and can be easily customized via a sophisticated graphical report designer. Quick reports can be generated using the new freeform report feature.

Drawing Sheets
This significant enhancement allows you to assign bars to specific drawing sheets. A drawing sheet could be an AutoCAD layout or a specific area of model space. You can produce bar lists that just related to specific drawing sheets, therefore allowing you to produce multiple drawings and bar lists from a single DWG file.

Members
A new method of categorizing bars by member has been introduced. You can use members as an aid to clarity or to create multiplies of whole details. You can even build up your releases from members.

Configure Simply
A clear and concise set of configuration options are offered with the bar list.

Ordering Releases for Fabrication
The concept of releases has been retained as an aid to the creation of production output files. Bars can be categorized as belonging to a specific release and then that release can be ordered to a production system such as Soule.

Supported Formats
You can now export bar data directly to the following data formats:

PDF, MS Outlook, MS Office, CSF, DWG, DWF, HTML.

We continue to support data interchange with proprietary systems such as ASA, Soule, Steelpac, Ariadis, Pinnacle, ROMAC, ARMA+, Shear97.

Manage Revisions
The issuing and revision management system have been significantly improved. A much more comprehensive solution has been implemented to ensure the controlled integration of changes. Bar list sheets can be issued and any subsequent changes are clearly marked. Drawing sheets can be issued with new features such as the automatic generation of revision clouds and change tracking layers ensuring the fast and accurate integration of revisions.

Bar List Always Open
The bar list now appears as a separate application. This means you are free to leave it open as you detail. This may be especially beneficial if you have a dual monitor setup.
