CADS Bearing Pile Designer can be used as a stand-alone package or in conjunction with CADS RC Pilecap Designer to assist experienced engineers in designing bearing piles and pile groups.

This software does allow the user to carry out reliable repetitive calculations on a set of defined input data and quickly compare results between different input data assumptions. The calculations carried out by the software have been verified against hand calculations and the results of this verification are included in the appendices to the User Manual.

The manual and the software assume that the user is experienced in and has sufficient knowledge of basic soil mechanics and bearing pile design.

The software can address piles in granular, cohesive and chalk soils with various parameters modified automatically to suit the soil conditions, pile type and installation method specified in the input data.

The pile group geometry options exactly match those available in CADS RC Pilecap Designer and is easily selected from user-friendly dialog box.

There is a choice of headed and numbered printed calculation reports with options to include input data, tabular results, graphical results and group action calculations.
