Automatic Bar Bending Schedules: The most impressive aspect of CADS RC is the automatic bar scheduling to BS 8666. CADS RC automatically creates and maintains the bar bending schedule throughout detailing and editing. Schedules can be sorted and compacted to a minimum number of pages. Users may customise their printed forms and include a company logo.
Automatic Detailing Macros: CADS RC supports parametric macros for detailing stairs, pilecaps, pad footings, beams, slabs, columns, circular bar arrangements and octagonal bases. The resulting details are scheduled automatically and can be revised later with CADS RC´s bar editing tools. |

Editing & revisions: CADS RC provides stretching and editing functionality which makes easy work of drawing changes and maximises re-use of existing details thus optimising the re-use of existing information. All changes to the drawing are immediately reflected in the bar bending schedule and all bar labels, sections etc. are also updated automatically.
Links to Rebar Fabrication Systems: CADS RC is also widely used by bar fabricators. CADS RC is able to produce the SteelPac SDI file format for exporting into the SteelPac electronic bar supply chain, thus providing seamless integration with other SteelPac technologies. The CADS bar bending schedule also links directly to production software and machinery, such as Ariadis.
