Automatic Bar Bending Schedules: The most impressive aspect of CADS RC India is the automatic bar scheduling to IS 2502:1963 (Reaffirmed 1990 and 1999). CADS RC India automatically creates and maintains the bar bending schedule throughout detailing and editing. Schedules can be sorted and compacted to a minimum number of pages. Users may customise their printed forms and include a company logo.

Automatic Detailing Macros: CADS RC India supports parametric macros for detailing stairs, pilecaps, pad footings, beams, slabs, columns, circular bar arrangements and octagonal bases. The resulting details are scheduled automatically and can be revised later with CADS RC India's bar editing tools.

Editing & revisions: CADS RC India provides stretching and editing functionality which makes easy work of drawing changes and maximises re-use of existing details thus optimising the re-use of existing information. All changes to the drawing are immediately reflected in the bar bending schedule and all bar labels, sections etc. are also updated automatically.

Links to Fabrication Systems: CADS RC India is able to produce the `industry standard´ SteelPac sdi file format for exporting into the SteelPac electronic rebar supply chain thus providing seamless integration with other SteelPac technologies, which includes tools for approvals, procurement and change management, optimisation and production.

Links to RC Design Software: The results from CADS BS8110 design programs for beams, columns, bases, etc, can be imported into CADS RC for instant detailing and scheduling. Such details can later be amended easily, as required.
