This SMART Scaffolder V1.02 includes many significant fixes and improvements.
Enhancements:
- The guard rail options have been extended to allow for double or triple guard rails on working lifts
- The software now produces load lists and drawings compliant with NASC SG4:05 (Preventing Falls in Scaffolding and False-work) by allowing for single, double, or triple guard rails on nonworking lifts. It is also still possible to specify that no guard rails are to be used
- The 'guard rail' scaffold type has been improved to show the length of the rail in the quotation
- It is now possible to transfer estimates to another computer outside of your office, for example via email or a USB memory stick, by using the new Import and Export options
- The customer address book has been improved to include additional information for contacts: their title, telephone and mobile numbers, and email address. This means that if you email a quotation directly from the software the email address of the appropriate contact is now used. The software also now sets the 'Dear sir' line in the contractual quotation based on the contact details
- The user-interface has been clarified by only showing options that apply to the current scaffold type, where previously the options were visible but disabled
- The default rates supplied with the software have been improved
Corrections made:
- It is no longer possible to exceed the NASC TG20 limit of 9m between landing points
- Gable end dimensions are now included in the labour price calculations for all pricing methods
- The configured labour rate is now displayed in the Internal Estimate report
- It is now possible to configure a quotation header size greater than 3 cm
- The load list calculations for end guard rails are now more accurate where lift heights differ in adjacent elevations
- Editing the scaffold no longer resets a user-defined tender price
- The nominal grid size stated in the contractual quotation for a birdcage scaffold has been corrected
