The group Carinox forms part of the Arcelor-group and is settled in Charleroi.
The extension of the plant of Carinox with a total new building for the production of inox, started in September 2003.
The plant will be in action at the end of the year 2005. The steel plant will have a production capacity of 10.000 ton a year.
The total investing sum is 250 mio. Euro, the steel structure amounts to a total of 15 mio. Euro.
The total surface of the plant is 23.000 m², the maximum height is 53 m.
Technum nv executed the design engineering, included static calculation, detail calculation for connections, general arrangement drawings, material take off, overview drawings, detail drawings so that each workshop could start immediately the workshop drawings for columns and crane girder entirely detailed. |

All the design engineering is made in ESA-Prima Win. The roof-structure and columns, even as the walls, are calculated in a 3D-model, the longitudinal bracings in a 2D-model. |
