CADS RC/RebarCAD V9.03
To set CADS RC v9.03 to load an alternative DWT file, the CADS RC V9.03 shortcut needs to be modified. To do this right click on the CADS RC v9.03 (AutoCAD 200x) icon and pick "Properties". The 'Target' of the shortcut points to the CADS RC programme the template file (/t) to be used along with the AutoCAD profile (/p). To change the DWT which is loaded automatically simply change the /t section of the shortcut to point to the new template.
For example
"C:\Program Files\CADS\AutoCAD 2008\CADS RC 9.01\CADS RC 9.03 (AutoCAD 2008).exe" /t "C:\AutoCAD files\Templates\template.dwt" /p "CADS-RC V9-03"

The mechanism that automatically loads RebarCAD on selecting the desktop icon means that you can no longer specify additional parameters. (e.g. /t ...DWT)
If you want to specify an alternative DWT file then you'll now need to edit the INI file found in the (e.g.) C:\Program Files\CADS\AutoCAD 2008\RebarCAD 9.00\ folder.
Revise this value as required.
