The modified concrete and reinforcement grades for the latest amendment to BS8110 and BS8666 have been incorporated. Existing projects and components will retain their existing grades but new ones will use the new grades by default.
Templates which require covers to be specified may now have an additional field to the fixing tolerance dc. This is in line with the recommendations of BS8500:2005. This was not present in previous versions of the templates and will be added to the specified cover. If in existing components this tolerance was already taken into account then you may wish to reduce the specified cover by the amount of the tolerance.
